Our dog is a male Siberian Husky and it would have been OK, with no strap touching the genitals. The brace part (for large dog) was too small and had to be returned, so we did not really use it–just tried it on and knew it woud not work. Ended up getter a more adjustable brace that attaches to a harness (not the collar like the In Hand one).
